Tour of the Bureau of Engraving and Printing
Wednesday some friends and I went to the Bureau of Engraving and Printing in Fort Worth. They are one of two locations where all our notes are printed. We saw a movie about how money is made, and then toured the plant. It was a lot more interesting than I expected. We learned a lot about anti-counterfeiting measures in the new money. We saw (from a distance) the new $100 bill that hasn't been released yet. If you are looking for something free to do in the area, it's worth the trip. You have to leave camera's and cell phones in your car. If you want more information their web site is: Bureau of Engraving and Printing, Fort Worth.
